Brief Biography:
Ilhami Unal received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Yeditepe University, Istanbul in 2002 and 2005, respectively, in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, where he is currently studying toward the Ph.D. degree. Since 2002, he has been working as a research assistant at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Yeditepe University. My PhD thesis subject is "A New Ultrawide-Band (UWB) Microwave Imaging System with Minimized Mutual Coupling Effects for Breast Tumor Detection". His research interests include antenna theory and design, electromagnetic fields, bioelectromagnetics, biomedical applications of microwaves, microwave imaging of breast cancer tumor, antenna design for artificial eye application, etc.
