Brief Biography:
I obtained my medical degree in 2001 followed by a residency in medical microbiology. I also obtained a PhD in 2010 from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. I joined the Wayne State University as a post-doctoral fellow in 2010. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor (Research) working on mitochondrial gene regulation with interest in viral signaling.
