Born in Naples, Italy in September 1964. Currently, Senior Consultant Anaesthetist and Intensivist, and Head, Pain Service at the Dept. of Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Ospedale “A. Manzoni”, Lecco, Italy. Large experience in adult and pediatric anesthesia and intensive care. Particular interest in respiratory disorders and ventilatory assistance. Strong committment to research. Over 50 papers published. Strong interest in bioethical issues. Reviewer for many peer reviewed journals. Board member of several journals and association. Associate Editor of “Anestesia e Medicina Critica”. Winner of five Scientific Awards in the field of anesthesia, intensive care and pain therapy. Who's Who in the world 2011 listee.
