Brief summary of research work in context to current scientific status

Dr Jaseja has been ranked Second in Epilepsy Research in India as published in a leading National Scientific Journal (Annals of Neurosciences April 2013) and is recognized as a leading International Neuroscientist in the World, the links to which are: http://annalsofneurosciences.org/files/july2013/ComprehensiveReview.pdf
In early last year (2013), Dr Jaseja had invented and published a new therapeutic electrical stimulation technique for patients with intractable epilepsy (Pedunculopontine nucleus stimulation), claimed to be highly effective on the basis of its property to enhance and strengthen the body’s inherent anti-epileptic potential. Formal application was filed in the United States Patent and Trademark Office for patenting the technique; the application has been published (links to which are: http://www.google.com/patents/US20140200624 ;

Cerebral Palsy is a neurological disorder of paramount national socio-economic concern with several spastic societies, both in Government and non-Government sectors. Dr Jaseja has proposed and published an EEG-based additional novel guideline in the management protocol of patients with Cerebral Palsy for their improved prognosis and quality of life and also shown the efficacy of Vagal Nerve Stimulation (VNS) in such patients.
He has initiated an International debate on the epileptogenic potential of Meditation evidenced by the large number of International publications in the period 2005-2010.
Interestingly, he has shown that the Indian traditional application of Shoe-smell in Epilepsy has a sound scientific basis, thus highlighting the scientific approach in Indian traditional remedial measures.
He has also published a novel approach to Alien search and Alien communication, which has been cited with work of notable astrophysicists and the link to which is: http://anyoneoutthere.weebly.com/works-cited.html ;
very recently, Dr Jaseja has published an article advocating revision (renaming) “Epilepsy” and substituting it with “Electroencephalic disorder”, the link to which is: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2213632014000050

Recently, Dr Jaseja has filed a second patent on the selection and determination of deep brain stimulation parameters with claims of novelty, targeted approach and distinct objective and superior therapeutic efficacy in comparison to current conventional mode of selection. The Patent has been filed in Mumbai Patent Office on Sept 18th, 2014 as well as the United States Patent and Trademark Office, USA on Dec 1st, 2014.
