What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:

Scientific publication is undergoing a significant transition and the merits and demerits of the peer-review process are now being hotly debated more than ever. In this context, Webmed Central provides a rare platform by publishing manuscripts and then following up with a post-publication peer review process. The presence of such platform eliminates any pre-publication bias often seen in more reputed journals and therefore, Webmed Central has good potential to lay a better foundation for a more open and unbiased discussion of scientific literature which eventually will benefit science in general.
