Dr. Rosa Herring

Brief Biography:


Dr. Herring is a Pacific Union College trained registered nurse who completed her master's at the University of Texas at Dallas, and her PhD in health education at Texas Woman’s University. Her dissertation was a study comparing the health beliefs and health promotion activities of Black and White women. She has been on faculty at Loma Linda University for nearly 14 years. She has been on faculty at Loma Linda University in the School of Public Health for over 17 years. She has three children, two are physicians and has a PhD in biochemistry from Loma Linda University.

What I think of the idea behind WebmedCentral:


WebmedCentral publishes manuscripts that have been peer-reviewed, its two portals (Plus and WMC) which appeal to all scientists, give authors the flexibility that they may need as well as more choices. I like the idea that if a manucript is not accepted for publication on Plus after being peer reviewed using certain criteria, the authors will have a chance to see their work published on WMC.
