Research interests:


As a faculty member, I teach an advanced course in chronic & infectious diseases epidemiology including the critical analysis of medical literature & teach in our departmental courses for medical students, and I extensively serve as preceptor for student research projects ranging from various electives at UMDNJ to summer research to MPH thesis work,. My present research focus on epidemiologic studies, formal evaluation of community-based efforts and public policy matters, with a particular focus on cancer, asthma, HIV and other infectious agents, health literacy, health disparities, and research regulation.
