Dr. Jun Lin

Brief Biography:


Dr. Jun S. Lin has been a Senior Scientist at AgResearch, a Crown Research Institute, New Zealand since 2002. He obtained a medicine degree at Fujian Medical University (FMU), China in 1983. He then worked at The First Affiliated Hospital of FMU for six years and then at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Australia for another three years. He went to study Biomedical Science at The School of Biological Sciences, Auckland University, NZ during his PhD studies. He spent three years in a postdoctoral programme in biomedical research at the Medical School, Auckland University, NZ. He then moved to AgResearch as a scientist and then senior scientist. His interests cover clinical medicine and basic medical research including cancer immunology, preparation and functional analysis of biomolecules such as recombinant protein, aptamer and riboswitch.
