Dr. Wilfredo Jr. Polido

Brief Biography:


Dr. Wilfredo T. Polido Jr. is a laparoscopic as well as a hepatopancreatobiliary and liver transplant surgeon.

He had his fellowship at the Asian Center For Liver Diseases and Transplantation – Singapore and his expertise involves the comprehensive management of liver, gall bladder, bile duct, and pancreatic diseases.

His proficiency in minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery, which he further honed at Gleneagles Hospital - Singapore and Seoul National University - Bundang Hospital, has supplemented the complexity of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery with the touch of minimally invasive approach. 

He is a faculty lecturer in Surgery at the Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation Medical Center, and has written and published researches on laparoscopic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation.  He is an active member of the Liver Study Group at St. Luke’s Medical Center and a Fellow of the Philippine Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
