Brief Biography:
Upon completion of my basic education I entered The Medical School of the Aristotelian university of Thessaloniki in 1989 and graduated in 1995. After 3 years as junior medical officer in the 401 Army General Hospital, I began my cardiothoracic specialty training in 1998 and aquired the certrificate of completion of training in 2006. For the next two years I served as a Consultant Cardiothoracic surgeon in the 401 Army General Hospital and then I was appointed specialist registrar (SpR) Cardiac surgeon in the Cardiothoracic department of the Manchester Heart Center In the Manchester University Hospital, where I served for the next two years.
Since 2010 I am appointed as Consultant Cardiothoracic surgeon in the cardiothoracic department of the 401 Army General Hospital, Athens, Greece.
