Any other information:

I was working as a guest researcher in the Ionizing Radiation Division, National Institute of Standards and Technology NIST, MD,U.S.A.for two years during my joint supervision program between the US-Egypt governments, represented by the two institutes (NIST/Alexandria University). I was involved in the Radioactivity Group’s radionuclide metrology. This work gave me the experience in radiochemistry which is one of the tough experimental work in the gamma spectroscopy (radiation detection). This work in the field of radiation detection and radiochemistry gave me the opportunity to have an international certificate in the radiochemistry workshop offered by the American Nuclear Society in 2006. It allowed me also, to have the license of the radiation protection and shielding from the ministry of health,Egypt, license number 154, 2009. This license is offered only for the nuclear engineers and persons who are involved in an international program of radiation protection.
I attended ten international conferences in US,CanadaandEgyptrepresenting NIST orAlexandriaUniversity, presenting review articles. I am honored to be a session chairman for "Radiation Protection and Shielding Division," in two International meeting sponsored by the American Nuclear Society in 2008 and 2009. My paper "Direct mathematical expressions to calculate the full-energy peak efficiency of HPGe detectors with rectangular sources," coauthored by NIST staff was nominated as the best paper in the RPSD in the "The American Nuclear Society’s 14th Biennial Topical Meeting of the Radiation Protection and Shielding Division, Carlsbad NM, U. S. A,"April 2006. Also, my single author paper "An Analytical Approach to Calibrate the 4π Nal (TI) Gamma- Ray Detector Array for the in Vivo Neutron Activation Analysis," has been nominated by the National Program Committee to be the best at the American Nuclear Society Winter Meeting, November 14 - 19, 2009, inWashington, D. C.,USA. I have 19 scientific papers coauthored by NIST staff or byAlexandriauniversity staff, published in the field of radiation detection in the most specialist journals and in several international conferences. I am invited to represent King Abdullaziz university as a chairman of the session of the General Shielding Applications in the "2010 International Joint biennial Topical meeting," in Las Vegas, U.S.A., April. I am also, a reviewer in the Nuclear Technology Journal and Radiation Physics and Chemistry Journal, which are among the most popular scientific journal in the radiation field.
I have attended several workshops all over the world, among those, is the IAEA Nuclear Data Structure workshop inTrieste,Italy, October, 2010 with an invitation from the IAEA.
Iam the principle investigator of a project concerning the decay heat evaluation of the fission products funded by king Abdulaziz city of science, project 10-MAT1134-3.
