Graduate of School of Medicine of Santa Maria Federal University (2001) - RS - Brazil. Completed Infectious Diseases Fellowship (2004) and MSc in Microbiology (2007) at Londrina State University - PR - Brazil. Joined the faculty at Santa Cruz do Sul University (UNISC) full time in 2006. Board certified in Infection Control and Infectious Diseases.
