The topic is important and suitable for nurses who work in the field of neonatal care.
-
Are these claims novel? If not, please specify papers that weaken the claims to the originality of this one.
It is relatively novel, as there are similar studies in other contexts.
-
Are the claims properly placed in the context of the previous literature?
No. The literature review in missing.
-
Do the results support the claims? If not, what other evidence is required?
No.The results is so brief without the tables of details.
-

-
Is the methodology valid? Does the paper offer enough details of its methodology that its experiments or its analyses could be reproduced?
No. Many details are missing.

Abstract
Both the results and conclusion sections should be improved. It seems that they have been mixed. Please provide more details regarding the findings and the implication of your findings for international nurses.
Introduction
The introduction should be mad stronger. There is a need to more details regarding the physiological details of the impact of massage on weight gain. Also you need to provide a review of literature on this topic and make an appropriate conclusion to support your hypothesis.
Methods
Many details of the methods section are missing: The recruitment process, sampling process, random assignment of the samples to groups, introduction of confounding variables and matching process, instrument development process and CONSORT flowchart so on…
Results
Tables, figure and graphs are required to summarise and clarify the findings.
Discussion
You need to provide more stronger discussion and compare your findings with those of others and also search for those studies that reject your conclusion.
Conclusion
It should contain limitations and suggestions for future studies.

The study is self sufficent.
Yes. The study is self sufficient.
One can always do more trials. But it is time consuming process and needs more volunteers.
It is somewhat important. Though similar results are reported earlier, any such studies help in validating the results for better healthcare.
